Twentysomething Michael Nowlin (Christopher Jacot, Fantastic Four) has been angry and troubled since the death of his father and he defiantly embarks on a love affair with a 32-year-old married model. When the woman is found murdered, suspicion naturally falls on Michael. In her efforts to prove his innocence, his overprotective mother Sandra (Tracy Nelson, The Father Dowling Mysteries) succeeds only in uncovering evidence that indicts her son. But Sandra is not about to let anyone stand in the way of her belief that her son has been wrongly accused – certainly not Det. Brunning (Bruce Boxleitner, Scarecrow and Mrs King), the cop handling the case.
