When Robert Genaro is accused of murdering a high profile politician he turns to star attorney Laney Henessy for help. Of course, matters are complicated slightly by the fact that Henessy also happens to be Genaro's fiancé. As the case progresses Laney finds out her fiancé has been living a dark and secretive double life. As she becomes embroiled in tales of blackmail and deceit Laney must make a decision that could shatter the life she thought she was living.
