Based on the award-winning novel by Lynn Austin, Hidden Places is an inspiring and moving drama about an American family trying to hold onto everything they hold dear during the Depression Era. For years, the land has comfortably supported farmer Frank Wyatt and his wife Eliza, but now mounting debts have forced the Wyatts to take their children out of school to help on the farm. Then into their lives comes Gabriel Harper, a polite, intelligent and Godfearing drifter who's come into town looking for work, a meal and a roof over his head. Gabriel isn't an ordinary drifter. He's intelligent, God-fearing, polite, and well-spoken. What's a man like that doing hitching from town to town on railroad cars? Is he in search of something, or is he running from something?
