With both of her adoptive parents now dead, Rebecca (Mercedes Ruehl) decides to go in search of her real family. What she finds is a sister who lives on a Navajo reservation and the tragic fact that Rebecca was stolen from her mother as a baby. As Rebecca begins to accept her Indian heritage and appreciate the culture's rich customs and language in this compelling Hallmark Hall of Fame drama, she must also try to bridge the cultural differences between her husband and two daughters and her newfound family on the reservation.
