The gentle owner of a succesful toy factory comes to a crossroads in his life when he is asked to turn his company into a munitions factory as part of the war effort.
A.C is a loving family man and succesful entrepreneur. His toy company, with it's family values, is a fine example to the rest of the industrial world. But when America joins World War II A.C comes under pressure from the government to turn his joyful toy factory into a munitions factory. Under the insistence of his overbearing father A.C begrudgingly accepts this responsibility. But after his brother, Frank, goes missing in action A.C falls apart. He encourages all of his workers to give up toy giving at Christmas. It is up to his loving wife and son to help A.C reclaim his happiness and become the man who saved Christmas.
